The Studio
My goal with the Latitude Production studio, is to create a space where you can come in and express yourself through sound, without needing to know how to play music. All you need is your creativity!
Already know how to play, and you're looking for a studio where you can start creating? Alongside me with 6 years experience in production, you'll also have access to the following equipment in the studio:
- XDJ-1000MK2 and DJM850
- Moog Grandmother
- Korg Minilogue
- Behringer TD-3-MO-AM
- Midi controllers
- Guitar and bass
- Ableton computer program on Mac
- Studio monitors
- Microphones
You're also more than welcome to bring in your own equipment if you prefer! I will be there as someone to show you how Ableton works, how to play instruments needed in your track, and if you can do it all already, we can sit down and learn the art of mixing and mastering. I also provide guidance on what the next steps are after publishing your music, or ways of self promotion into the community.
Nathan O'Donnell - Founder
My love for music was formed at an early age with plenty of influence from my dad. I remember him showing me 'The Wall' by Pink Floyd for the first time, and I felt inspired.
I've been producing music for 6 years, creating a wide range of styles under the name Bombada. I currently play in a duo called Middle Earth, where we play a mix of ambient and rock. I also play in a collective called DJ Centipede and The Earthworms, where we play a fusion of psych-rock, punk and electronic music.
In regards to my career, I have been working in disability support for 2 years now, and have worked with many people, facing a wide range of disabilities. I hold a Cert IV in Youth Work, but have worked with participants of many ages, and have completed a wide range of activities, from creating music, to other forms of art as well as physical activity based adventures.
